Home2Home Round Green

About Us

Home2Home Nursery was established in 2014 as a childminding service. We expanded our business in 2016, when we opened our first setting in Round Green which is situated not far from Stopsley in Luton. We have close access to local shops which we visit regularly.
Home2Home concentrates on life-skills as opposed to classroom schooling, we offer services to a wide range of children from various cultures and religions. The nursery offers children a range of learning opportunities inside and outside of the nursery building, the building is a small bungalow-like house with two rooms. The children have access to outside play daily, throughout each season and our garden is secure with perimeter fencing.
We are a fully inclusive nursery that is currently able to provide 13 full time equivalent places, for children age 3 months to 4 years old.
The aim of the nursery is to provide a 'home-from-home' welcoming environment where children thrive on fun and laughter, as well providing a happy and inviting place to have fun with others. Our environments are homely, comfortable, stimulating and exciting.
Our vision in the Foundation Stage is to nurture children’s natural enthusiasm to learn, by understanding what our children already know. We inspire learning through excellent play opportunities and a passion for bringing a rich and varied curriculum to life. We thoroughly plan learning opportunities and robust assessments, aiming to lead all children towards self-motivation and challenge, encourage self-discipline, perseverance and commitment to their learning and individual needs. The staff encourage the children by scaffolding as they learn and develop.
We open all year, Monday to Friday, from 8am-3pm closing on bank holidays and 5 days for Christmas and New Year’s. The nursery is currently divided into 2 age ranges: The explorers (0-24 months), and the Adventurers (2 year to 4 years).
We offer funded places to children and families who are in receipt of two-year-old and three-year-old funding.
We freshly cook vegetarian meals, ensuring every child has their five a day with a balanced diet.

Meet The Team

Our Director - Miss Collette Simpson

Hello, I'm Collette Simpson, Founder and Director of Home2Home Nursery.
As a parent myself, I know we all want the very best for our children and when we can't be with them, we need to be absolutely certain they're receiving the care and attention from a team of highly trained caring professionals, who love their jobs.
I started childminding at my home address back in 2014 when my son was four, I was proudly awarded with Outstanding for my practice from OFSTED.
Our family run nursery group has been born out of hard work and a desire to make sure that only the best care is available for your children, I am extremely proud of the wonderful team that provide this at our nurseries.
Together, we've been able to create a uniquely nurturing and informal environment, we have established a reputation as a leading childcare provider in the areas we operate. We pride ourselves on being #expertsinchildcare.
At Home2Home we have a long list of things we care about and at the top of the list are our children. We understand that no two children are the same. We meet the needs of every individual in our settings to the best of our ability, so every child can flourish, learn, and have fun whilst enjoying a sense of belonging and community.
Our mission is to nurture every child into confident life-long learners who develop respect and become valued members of the community. We strive to provide a fun environment which promotes learning through play and challenges creativity, curiosity and imagination!
