Providing a Home away from Home in the heart of Luton
At Home2Home we believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life and the support to fulfil their potential. A child's experience in the early years has a major impact on their future. A
secure, safe and happy childhood is important and when parents or carers chose a nursery, they want the assurance that they will keep their children safe and support them to develop.
We provide a home away from home environment which stimulates learning and development and helps develop confident, independent and creative children.
We want every child to be included and supported and make good progress so that no child gets left behind. We plan activities around the needs and interests of each unique child whilst working in partnership with parents/carers.
We ensure that we employ only the most dedicated and desirable staff, with a natural affinity for childcare and a great understanding of the under 5 age group. We can promise that your child will be loved, well cared for and treated with the respect and dignity that every child deserves.
From your Home to ours
We believe excellent child care replicates a loving home where caring adults nurture children and help them grow and learn.
Our role is to support families through strong partnerships with you, in providing education and care for your child. By establishing and maintaining open and ongoing communication with you, we are able to strengthen the ties that connect your home with our nursery. This enhances the development of your child in our care to become a lifelong learner, succeeding at school and beyond.
By keeping in close touch with you, we not only learn more about your child, we also gain an understanding of how best to work in partnership with you for the benefit of you and your child.
How You Will Receive Feedback on your Child's Development
You will have received the name of your child’s key person in your Welcome Email, this person will be responsible for compiling the Learning Journey for your child for their duration in this room. The key person will also update you of their progress at Parents Evening, please speak to your child’s key person if you have any comments or concerns relating to your child or the nursery.
Our Communication Journal
From your babies first day at nursery, you will be provided with a communication Journal which will summarise how their day has been. This will include what they have eaten, their fluid intake, the activities they have taken part in and their sleep time if applicable. You can also leave messages for the key worker each day.
A member of staff will go through your child’s day with you on collection, please feel free to ask any questions or give any feedback you may have. You can also call at any time of the day to check in on how their day is going.
We have two Parents Evenings in a year whereby you will have a chance to meet your child’s key person and discuss their development, the dates for these will be communicated via our Newsletter. Once announced an appointment schedule will be displayed in the nursery for you to book a convenient time to attend.
